Horses at the Oller Ranch - June 2010
"Mattie"  is a really nice '97 open barrel horse who also excels in heading, heeling, and breakaway. She has clocked in all divisions but most often runs 1D/2D times against the toughs. She's very youth suitable and easy to ride! Definitely easy enough to gear down for an intermediate rider and fast enough for someone who has higher expectations. Her sire Matts King is also the sire of an AQHA World Champion barrel horse... We've owned Mattie since she was 3 and my youth daughter Kami Oller trained her on barrels. She does not require tuning or alot of riding. In fact we leave her turned out on 100 acres and when Kami needs her she goes out and catches her - it's that easy!
